Follow this script VERBATUM when training a new Recruit:
"Hello, and welcome to US Army Basic Training. I am [Rank], [Name], and I will be your instructor today."
"During training, you may not SPEAK or MOVE, unless directed to do so by myself. Please refrain from asking any questions until the end of this training."
+ Ask for any preliminary questions before you begin. +
I. RANKS
“In the US Amry, we have ranks that are divided into five categories."
“First is Enlisted . This is you. These are the members of the US Army that are in training to become Non-Commissioned Officers. Your job is to recruit new members by filling the front row and assisting them in joining by directing them to the green sticky notes.”
“Next are the Non-Commissioned Officers. They participate in the Enlisted's duties of recruiting, as well as Guarding the Gate (GG).
"Next is the Warrant Officers. They report to the Commissioned Officers, and help make decisions within the HQ.
"Next are the Commissioned Officers. These members are in charge of the US Army Billets. They oversee the Intelligence, Liaison, and Attack Regiments.
"Finally, there are Flag Grade Officers. These are the Head of the US Army. They make all decisions and report directly to the Command And Chief and the rest of the cabinet.”
"Are there any questions about the ranks?"
II. HEADQUARTERS PROCEDURES
"In the HQ, we have certain procedures that should be followed at all times. We ask that you always be in uniform, and have your badge presentable. You must also shout at all times and use proper grammar. We also have certain basic drill commands that are to be followed while working.”
“FTF means Fill the Front row. In the HQ, you must FTF at all in times in Rank Order (RO). If you are not sitting it rank order, you may be told to File Up (F/U) or File Down (F/D) which means move over to the right or to the left. You must never FTM (Fill the Middle) unless instructed to do so because the middle row is for Recruits.”
“AFK means Away From Keyboard. When you have to go AFK or BRB, you must FTB (Fill the Back row). You must NEVER go AFK in the front row. The back row is for people who have to go AFK and the front row is for recruiting.”
“Next is the Attention procedure. During Attention, you stand up directly in front of or behind your seat. If you miss-click or you face the wrong direction, you must fix it by sitting down and standing back up quickly. You do not SPEAK or MOVE during Attention and you stay that way until the commanding Officer calls 'At Ease' which means sit back down. ‘Carry On’ and ‘As You Were’ may also be called instead of 'At Ease'. Attention should be practiced every time an officer enters the HQ. US Army Officers wear Short Sleeve black Pocketed Shirts.
+ Practice Attention,
“Now, I would like all of you to read the Code of Conduct on the pink sticky notes to the left. Read both pages and stand at Attention when you finish.”
+Wait for all of them to stand. Call At Ease when they finish.”
III. FRONT AND CENTER
"When an Officer wishes promote/demote/speak to you, he may call you Front and Center. This happens while the HQ is at Attention. When the Officer says '[Your Name], F&C!', you will approach the Officer and stand DIRECTLY in front of him/her and face them straight on, wave once, and say ‘Yes, Sir/Ma'am!’. They will say what they have to say and when they finish, they will say ‘Dismissed’. You will then wave once, go back to your seat, and stand back up and REMAIN AT ATTENTION until ‘At Ease’ is called."
+ Practice F&C with EACH Recruit at the gate. +
“There is one last thing. BTB means Back to Base. When you want to go BTB and work, you search ‘Faction-Owner’ and go to the Australian Army. To make this easier, I want all of you to search ‘Defence-COM’ now and add it to your favorites. Do NOT go there now. Just add it to favorites.”
+ Wait for them all to add the HQ to their favorites. Walk them through it and help them if they are having troubles. +
III. CONCLUSION
"As the Enlisted of US Army, your job will be as said earlier: To recruit, and to help new members become part of the upstanding tradition that is the US Army. Are there any final questions?"
+ Promote members as if an Officer were promoting them. Give them their new uniform and motto. +
+ Stand in front of the teleporter and send them BTB through the navigator to ensure that they know how to for the future.”
